Dzongri at an altitude of 4022 is the popular trek in west Sikkim Himalaya. The Dzongri It offers the trekker a most fascinating close-up view of Kanchenjunga and Mt. Pandim. The trek passes Yuksam, following the Rathong Valley to Bakkhim then steep ascent to the village of Tshoka. Above Tshoka the trail reaches Phedang then further walk brings you to Dzongri. Then the trail drops steeply down to the river and further to Thangsing.
Goecha La at an altitude of about 4940m is another attraction of the trek. This is one of few traditional trekking trails around the Kanchenjunga National Park which follows a picturesque route past lush vegetation, wonderful mountain views and Sikkim remote village with it’s reach culture.

Day 01. Arrive Bhadrapur/Bagdogra airport and transfer to Darjeeling about 4-5 hrs drive. O/N hotel
Day 02. Darjeeling sightseeing. Visit Yiga Cholling Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoo and Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre. O/N hotel
Day 03. Transfer to Gangtok about 4-5 hrs drive. O/N hotel
Day 04. Gangtok sightseeing and permit formalities. O/N hotel
Day 05. Transfer to Yuksam (1780m) about 6 hrs drive. O/N camp
Day 06. Trek to Sachen (about 2200m) about 4-5 hrs. O/N camp
Day 07. Trek to Tshoka (3005m) about 3-4 hrs walk. O/N camp
Day 08. Trek to Dzongri (4030m) about 5-6 hrs walk. O/N camp
Day 09. A day at Dzongri to explore. O/N camp
Day 10. Trek back to Tshoka 3-4 hrs walk. O/N camp
Day 11. Trek back to Yuksam 5-6 hrs walk. O/N hotel
Day 12. Transfer to Pelling about 3 hrs drive. O/N hotel
Day 13. Transfer to Kalimpong about 3-4 hrs drive O/N hotel.
