The longest and adventurous mountain Bike expedition in Nepal
Tilicho Lake just above historical Manag is the highest lake in the world at 5200m. The lake lies on the north side of the Annapurna Himal, just below Tilicho Peak (7134m). Biking to this Lake is just introduced to the adventure and experienced Bikers as the route rises to the Mesukantu-La pass at 5,300m. This Biking adventure is an exciting and adventurous into Himalayan trails from 970 m. to 5416 m. The trip starts with drive to Besisahar and ends in Pokhara and the trail is 40 t0 95 % ride able depending on the place. We welcome the Bikers looking for such a trip probably not done before to be proud of yourself of biking through a Himalayan country.
Expedition Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and overnight at lodge.
Day 04: Bike to Bahundanda 1315m. 17 kms approx.
Day 05: Bike to Tal 1710m. 12 kms approx.
Day 06: Bike To Chame 2670m. 20 kms approx.
Day 07: Bike to Lower Pisang village 3260m. 16 kms approx.
Day 08: Manang village 3460m. 17 kms approx. 90% bile able.
Day 09: A day rest for acclimatization and explore the village.
Day 10: Bike to Braga 3500m. Overnight at tent.
Day 11: Bike to Tilicho Base camp 4200m. Overnight at tents
Day 12: Bike to Tilicho Lake 5000m 48% ride able.
Day 13: Cross a pass 5300m. then descend to Tilicho camp 2. Overnight at tents 5,100 m.
Day 14: A short ascent brings us to the great viewpoint 5200m. from where we can see far way Tibet and the beautiful landscape of Upper Mustang.
Day 15: Bike to Jomsom 2790m. 90% ride able. Over night at hotel.
Day 16: Bike to Kalopani 2540m. 25 kms approx.
Day 17: Bike to Tatopani, 1140m. 22 kms approx.
Day 18: Bike To Beni Bazzar 840m. 24 kms approx.
Day 19: Drive from Beni to Pokhara.
Day 20: Rest day in Pokhara.
Day 21: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu .
Day 22: Free day for souvenir shopping in Kathmandu .
Day 22: Departure transfer to airport for return flight to sweet home.
