Visiting the base camp and walking on glacier of Mt. Everest from Tibet side makes this tour more adventure. After couple of days sight-seeing tour of Lhasa city, we start our overland driving adventure to Gyantse-Sigatse-Lhatse and then to Rombuk monastery and walk into Mt. Everest Base Camp. You will experience the high passes, lakes, monasteries/Gomba and of course beautiful landscape with impressive sceneries along the way. After the wonderful exploration of the Rombuk monastery and glacier of the Everest, drive to Tingri and further down to Friendship Bridge passing Ghangmu the last Tibetan village. Cross the border and drive to Kathmandu for about 5hrs.

Visa cost: USD 50-175 depending the visa working period and nationalityDay 01: Transfer to the airport and fly from Kathmandu to Lhasa on China Southwest Airlines. Arrival at Gonggar airport and clear immigration and customs formalities then two hour drive to Lhasa at an altitude of 3650m.
Day 02-03: Sight-seeing tour of Lhasa including the Potala palace, Drepung and Sera monasteries, the Norbulinka and of course the famous Jokhang Temple and surroundingof Barkhor Bazaar.
Day 04: Lhasa – Gyantse 3900m - Begin overland adventure with a full day drive to Gyantse passing the Kamba la (4794m) and the Karo La pass (5010m) and Yamdrok tso lake.
Day 05: Gyantse - Shigatse 3837m - visit Gyantse monastery and drive for about two hour to get Shigatse the visit the giant Buddha in the famous Tashilumpo monastery the seat of the Panchen Lama.
Day 06: Shigatse – Lhatse 4290m - Drive through two high passes with fine views and get to the small town of Lhatse.
Day 07: Lhatse – Rombuk 5050m – Drive to Rombuk and stroll around the monastery with great views of Mt. Everest and other peaks.
begin Everest Base Camp excursion with the Tsho La (4500m) and ends with the spectacular view of Mt. Everest from Rombuk monastery at 5050m.
Day 08: Rombuk – Tingri 4200m – Walk to the Mt. Everest Base Camp and excursion around for few hours and return early afternoon to head to Lao Tingri.
Day 09: Tingri – Zhangmu - Drive over the lalung La 5050m. the last pass making sure you have some photo left for the panoramic view of the Himalayan range.
Day 10: Drive down to friendship bridge. After custom and immigration clearance, drive to kathmandu.
