Namtso lake at 4748m with an area 1920sq and about 60kms northwest from Lhasa city is one of the three sacred lakes in Tibet as named 'The Sky Lake' the highest lakes in the world and biggest lake in Tibet. Every sheep year in Tibetan calendar the festival is held and countless pilgrims from far away visit the lake to pay homage. It is not only a visit the lake but an exploration of the Lhasa city within a short period of travel time.
