Apart from viewing Mt. Everest instantly, a Sherpa cultural and monastery visiting experience trek to Tengboche monastery with its majestic view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse and most beautiful of all Ama Dablam. We also visit Thami monastery as well as Khumjung monastery where we can view what sherpa claim are the remains of a Yeti scalp. This 10 days trek starting from Lukla, takes through the heart of the mountains and Sherpa culture, picturesque villages and monasteries. As altitude is not a problem on this trek we fly to Lukla in each direction and start to trek with an easy walk to Phakding and going up by crossing Dudh Koshi River few times then a steep ascent to Namche Bazaar a well developed and highest big market in the area. One day is taken here for site visit around and acclimatization soaking up the atmosphere of this bustling village. As soon as get to top of the village, you great views of Ama, Dablam to the right and Tengboche hill ahead other mountains around. After a shot break at Khumjung, we descend to Dhud Khosi river leaving the Gokyo trail and climb up hill to Tengboche with a great monastery to be visited and wonderful mountain views to be seen.
From here we trek back to Lukla via same trail and fly to Kathmandu.
