Chitwan National Park Tour

On the first day of your adventure with Holiday Mountain Treks & Expedition, you will depart from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, and drive towards Chitwan National Park. After an early morning breakfast, we begin our scenic journey along the winding highway, passing through rural landscapes, lush hills, and small villages. The drive takes around 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions, and along the way, you can enjoy the beauty of Nepal’s countryside. As you approach Chitwan, you’ll notice the transition to a more tropical atmosphere. Upon arrival in Chitwan, you will be greeted by our local team and transferred to your accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy the serene environment. In the evening, you’ll be treated to a cultural Tharu dance performance, giving you a glimpse into the traditional life of the local ethnic group. Dinner will be served at your lodge, and you’ll have time to rest in preparation for the exciting activities ahead.

Today, we delve deep into the heart of Chitwan National Park for a full day of thrilling jungle activities. After breakfast, you will head out on an early morning jeep safari or a guided nature walk, where your expert naturalist will share fascinating insights about the park’s flora and fauna. Chitwan is home to diverse wildlife, including the elusive Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, and countless bird species. Keep your cameras ready as you may get the chance to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Later, you can enjoy a peaceful canoe ride along the Rapti River, where you might spot crocodiles basking in the sun or perhaps a family of otters playing in the water. After lunch, a visit to the Elephant Breeding Center is planned, where you can learn about the conservation efforts for elephants in the park. In the afternoon, a nature walk or another safari will immerse you further into the jungle, offering more opportunities to spot wildlife. The day concludes with a relaxing dinner at your lodge, where you can recount the day's adventure and enjoy some local delicacies.

On the final day, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll begin your journey back to Kathmandu. The drive offers a final chance to take in the tranquil landscape of Chitwan and the surrounding countryside. You will arrive in Kathmandu by mid-afternoon, marking the end of your memorable Chitwan National Park tour.
