I have not done any treks before; will I be fit to trek into the Himalaya?

Nepal has such diversity with a range off trek and it is even great place for first time trekkers. We will find the perfect trek for you as per your experience, ambition and fitness level.

Yes, as a service concerned we take care of all domestic flight tickets, hotel bookings and other services you require without any extra service charge.

What are the best times to come on a trip to Himalaya?

The best months are September to December, and February to May. Normally January is recommended for tours, safari and low altitudes treks but for Dolpo and Mustang and some areas in Tibet and India the be, st months are May to August because theses areas are Rain Shadows with much lithe the monsoon.

What is the number of persons required for the trips?

There should be and we require minimum two person for restricted area treks such as Mustang, Nar-Phu, Dolpo, Manaslu and Kanchenjunga but even a one person is no problem for regular trekking areas such as Annapurna, Everest and Langtang not exceeding 14 person in a group to avoid crowed for a successful trip.

How long the trek will be?

Generally, the duration of the trek the pends on your time, interest and location. Your trek can last anywhere from 2/3 days to an entire month or longer if you wish. We can accommodate day hikes, cultural visits to local villages, and relaxing rest days on your trek. The decision is up to you to choose the length of the trek..

What are the Tea-Houses like?

They are the combination of guesthouse, restaurant, and social hang out. We encourage all trekkers along the Everest, Langtang, and Annapurna treks to try our tea house treks. Our many years of experience along these routes have helped us find the friendliest, cleanest, and most enjoyable tea houses with the best views. Most tea houses have running water. Many have hot water available for bathing. But we discourage our groups from using water heated by wood fires due to lack of firewood in most villages. Deforestation is a big environmental concern in Nepal. They are also a great way help s support local villages.

What type of insurance should I get? Can I get it in Nepal?

As the trip is into the Himalaya, the insurance should cover medical and evacuation cost. If it is easier to get it in home count the dry or have one already then it is fine otherwise we can also help you to get it here in Nepal. The cost and coverage will be as per the insurance amount and your age.

What equipment do you provide? What should I bring myself?

We provide standard quality sleeping bags, down jackets, trekking poles, tents, mattresses and kitchen equipment. You will have to bring your personal wears/gears, trekking shoes, rucksacks etc. Link equipments list.

How about the food and drink on the trip? Should I bring any pack foods?

As it has been our profession, we are used to prepare food for westerners so we can assure you all food is prepared to a very high standard of hygiene on the camping trek and on a lodge base trek, our guides always inspect the tea-house kitchen to ensure freshness, cleanness, well cooked. For the drinking water, bottles of water are available, but are not friendly to the environment. Instead we recommend water that has been boiled and then purified by tablet, which is ample precaution. If you are used to take any specific food and some energy dry food can bring with you though.

How much extra money apart from the package should I bring on the trek?

The package will cover most the ex of expenses on the trek. Reg. the extra money you bring on a trek depends on you. Cold drinks and an occasional beer after a long day of hiking can be awfully nice. These along with any souvenirs, gift, laundry, communications, tips etc are the extra things. We suggest you do not carry much cash and rather bring visa cards so far we do have ATM machines in most of the city.

What about the equipment and insurance for your staffs?

Our staffs-guides, cooks, Sherpa and porters are fully equipped and insured. We provide good quality of equipments and good mount covering insurance as per the trip nature. It is just a team of work so we are worker and boss of the company. We are serious about the staffs rights welfare and health.

How will the altitude affect me?

Altitude sickness can be a worry for many people coming from sea level. This is why our itinerary is specially designed to give our customers extra days to acclimatize to the higher altitudes. Our guides are trained to spot any signs of altitude sickness and are attentive to react.

What happens if there is an emergency on the trek?

Our guides are trained to deal with most of the basic ailments that occur during a trek, however if the, re is a serious emergency, then outside help is required. If this is the case imidiatly make an arrangement of helicopter rescue flight and we initially deal with Helicopter company about the duration and cost of an evacuation until your insurance company can deliver the payment. To avoid losing payment of this regard you should have your own insurance before coming to Nepal.

What short of guides do you have?

Is there electricity in the mountain?

Yes, most of the trekking trails there is electricity and solar panel for light and battery charging, shaving and hairdryer. Nepal use voltages, 220-240 volts to power your appliances. The sockets are fit both round and flat.

Can I organize a Tibet visa myself and travel alone in Tibet?

No, due to China's tourism policy for Tibet, it is not possible for you to get a visa yourself in Kathmandu and it is not possible to travel Tibet on your own. The visa is on the paper and in a group list. Being an authorized tour operator company, we arrange visa, permit and all other paperwork for you.

What should I do to book the Tibet tour?

We just require passport copy to reach to us at least two weeks before the trip the arts along with required advance money deposit. With this we will,l proceed the Tibet travel permit and visa. We will need your original passport on your arrival to collect the visa.
