Information about Bandipur village situated on a hilltop 1100m above the highway town of Dumre (7 km) between Kathmandu and Pokhara is a picturesque village town nestled in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal and Bandipur is famous for its natural beauty and hospitality of its people. Bandipur a Newar village has maintained its age-old flavor and presents sightseers with a heady mix of history, architecture, incredible views, awesome caves, and unspoiled landscapes. The village provides excellent mountain views including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Langtang Himalaya range. Bandipur is an ideal retreat to soak in this fabulous heritage along with the natural splendor of the surroundings and get a close look at Newar, Magar, Bahun, and Chhetri. It is easy to get to Bandipur village a few hrs drive from Kathmandu, Pokhara, Gorkha, and Chitwan.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu 1300m.

Arrive at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel. Refreshments then briefing about the tour.

Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur 1100m. 145 kms about 4hrs.

After breakfast; stars a scenic drive to Dumre then a short uphill further with a great view of mountains. Reach Bandipur and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 : Visit around Bandipur Village

Hike above the village to Raniban and get a view of the mountains and picturesque village of Bandipur.

Day 4 : Banipur Village tour

Sightseeing around Bandipur visiting the famous Siddha Cave, Ramkot village, and Bandipur village itself.

Day 5 : Drive back to Kathmandu 1300m. 145 kms about 5 hrs

After breakfast; drive back to Kathmandu. Evening enjoy the farewell dinner with a live Nepali cultural program.

Day 6 : Departure from Kathmandu

If you have time and are interested in other adventures like white water rating, wildlife safari, or any other activities can extend your holiday or transfer to the airport and fly back to sweet home.
