Nagarkot at an elevation of 2100m is a perfect day hike tour which offers a gentle walk through beautiful countryside and views of Himalayan ranges with sunrise and sunset. The tour can be combined with sunrise early morning and walking downhill to Bhaktapur through the great landscape and viewing Kathmandu valley.
Early morning drive two hours to Nagarkot to view sunrise over the Himalaya and magnificent mountain range to the north. After breakfast start to hike down to Sangkhu one of oldest Hindu temple then further to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the city and drive back one hour to Kathmandu.
