Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival, you will visit the Swoyambhunath Temple – said to be a 2,500 years stupa on a hillock, which offers a breath-taking view of Kathmandu City and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 2:Boudhnath – Gokarna Mahadev Temple – Bungmati and Khokana
Boudhanath Stupa for sunrise shooting. Bouddhanath Stupa – the largest stupa in Asia and listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1979. Proceed to Gokama Mahadev Temple for sightseeing and to explore the villages nearby. Explore an unique villages 10 km South of Kathmandu, Bungamati and Khokana, the winter home of lord Rato Machhendranath. Visit sleeping God Bishnu at Budhanilkantha then return to Boudhanath Stupa for sunset shooting
Day 3:Nagarkot – Bhaktapur – Madyhapur Thimi
Sunrise shooting at Nagarkot. Short excursion around the village, then continue to Bhaktapur and Madyhapur Thimi.
Day 4:Kathmandu – Pokhara
After breakfast, proceed to Pokhara. This lakeside village sits “front-row centre” to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurnas and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machapuchare tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara. Your two days here will be the scenic highlight of your trip.
Day 5:Sarangkot – Remote Village
Early wake-up call for a short drive to Sharankot to visit one of the most popular tourist spots to watch the sun rise. This place is situated at an elevation of 1,500m above sea level. Return to hotel for a leisurely breakfast, followed by your half day city tour. Visit “Magic Land or Dreamland” of Nepal; Devi’s Fall, Mahadev Gupteswor Cave and a Tibetan refugee camp, where you can see their way of life. Their specialty of hand-woven carpet factory is made from the best quality mountain goat’s wool. After lunch near Lake Fewa, we will go for mini trek up the newly built World Peace Stupa. At 1,050m high, you will be able to see the beautiful heart-shaped Lake Fewa and the city view of Pokhara
Day 6:Pokhara
Sunrise shooting at Phewa Lake, after breakfast, explore the scenic Kandani Danda village opposite of Sarangkot.
Day 7:Pokhara – Kathmandu
After breakfast; drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free for own activities.
Day 8:Pashupathinath – Patan – Mangal Bazaar
Early in the morning first visit to Pashupatinath. Continue to explore Mangal Bazaar and Patan Durbar Square. Stop over at any interesting remote village for photography. Afternoon, visit Patan (Lalitpur), which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley, famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples
Day 9:Departure
Transfer to airport and fly to Home.
