Peak Climbing

Most of the trekking peaks are easily access up to the base camp. All trekking peak permitted by Nepal Mountaineering Association are significantly mountaineering adventures. Few of the trekking peaks are walk-ups and some of them technically demanding and dangerous. However the trekking peak climbing requires some technical skill and previous experience of snow/rock climb. Usually a well-equipped base camp is necessary and the ascent of a peak requires one or two high camps that must be established so you will need minimum of two days to climb. Nepal Mountaineering Association NMA has had the authority to issue permission for small-scale attempts on 18 peaks from 1978. Peak permits are shortly and easily issued so no need to go through a long application process, hire and equip a liaison officer, or organize a huge assault on a major peak so anyone who has some climbing experience can try and enjoy climbing Nepal Himalaya.
