A perfect day tour to Shivapuri 2724m (nearest National park from Kathmandu with subtropical forest and biodiversity) starting from Budhanilkantha, the holy site of the sleeping Hindu god Vishnu through nature to Nagi Gompa a hilltop Buddhist monastery where panoramic views of the Kathmandu valley abound. After a wonderful exploration and great mountain views hike down to Sundarijal with songs of birds and some wildlife sights in the dense forest and enjoy wonderful waterfalls.
Day 01: After breakfast drive one hour to Budhnilkantha a religious spot with sleeping god Bishnu then start to hike. The hike goes through the forest with a great view down to the valley. Eventually, reach to the Nagi Gomba and hike down to Sundarijal then drive back one and half hour to Kathmandu.
Well broken-in walking shoes - these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, camp shoes.
