Nagarkot a short trekking around kathmandu valley in Nepal
Short trek to Nagarkot at the altitude of 2100m. which is being more and more popular to the tourists as well as locals offering breathtaking mountain views with sun set and sun rise over the Himalayas. Nagarkot trek starts with an hour drive to Sundarijal and trek uphill to Chosopani then the trail goes through the forests and villages to Nagarkot. From here the trek is easy mostly through the forest to Nala then involves more drives. Enjoy the sunset and panoramic mountain views and drive back to Kathmandu.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Arrive at Kathmandu airport. You'll be met at the airport by our representative and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu.
Visit Swoyambhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar square then get prepared for the trip and meet the trekking crew, briefing.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Chisopani.
Drive to Sundarijal one hour and trek 4hrs uphill through the forest and villages to Borlang Bhyangjang then to the Chisopani village with magnificent mountain views to the north.
Day 04: Chisopani – Nagarkot.
Trek for 7hrs through forest and village enjoying mountain and valley views gradually climbing up to Nagarkot for the overnight stay.
Day 05: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel.
An easy walk to viewpoint then through farthest to Nala and drive to Dhulikhel.
Day 06: Dhulikhel – Kathmandu.
After breakfast; drive to Kathmandu via Bhaktapur.
Day 07: Kathmandu.
A free day for your own activities. Evening, enjoy a fare dinner with a lively cultural program hosted by the company.
Day 08: Departure.
If you have time and are interested in other adventures like white water rating, wildlife safari or any other activities can extend your holiday or transfer to the airport and fly back to sweet home.

Well broken-in walking shoes, thick socks, light socks, sandal or light shoes.

Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, towel, psncho, sun hat.
Other equipment:
Sleeping bag (4 seasons), trekking hold all or stash sack with lock, day pack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve, gaiters.
